Obituary for Theresa J. Comerford

Theresa J. Comerford
Clinton-Theresa J. (Berube) Comerford, 90, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 following a brief illness.  She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, William N. Comerford, and two sons, Daniel Comerford and William N. Comerford, Jr.  She is survived by her daughter, Jean McFaul & fiancé Robert Szot of Leominster; her son, Thomas Comerford & companion Sandra Lopez of Clinton; her loving grandchildren, Bethany Comerford, Jennifer Varela, Cynthia Lincoln, Shelby McFaul and Jenna McFaul; Edwin, Maritza, Eric, and Elaine Rivera; great-grandchildren, Alexandra, Mariah, Shania, Tyler, and Gavin, and great-great-grandson Armani.  She leaves her brother, Victor Berube of Haverhill; generations of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  She is pre-deceased by her long-time companion Thomas Mack, daughter-in-law Sandra Comerford, and her siblings, Marie, Madeleine, Francesca, John, Eugene, Peter, Gerald, Andre and Ernest.
Theresa was born in Fitchburg to the late Luc & Diana (Dion) Berube.  She was educated in Canada and later met and married her husband Bill, with whom she settled in Clinton and raised her family.  She worked at the former Cluett & Peabody Company, ITT Surpenant, Colonial Press, and Heffernan Press before retiring. Terry loved the ocean and spent many summer vacations with her toes in the sand on Salisbury Beach.  She was an avid reader and ferocious cribbage player.  Terry will be lovingly remembered for her no-nonsense, no filter personality and for always telling others what was on her mind. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 12PM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with calling hours prior from 10:30AM-12PM.
