Pauline M.  O'Donoghue (Renaud)
Clinton-Pauline M. (Renaud) O’Donoghue, 92, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 following a period of declining health.  She is survived by her son, Michael J. O’Donoghue, with whom she lived; and her daughter, Sheila Binder & husband Larry, all of Clinton; 6 grandchildren: Justin O’Donoghue-Burgwinkle; Kerry Horne & husband Michael; Casey O’Donoghue & wife Rachel; Kady St. Hilaire & husband Andrew; Joshua O’Donoghue & companion Tracey McInnis; and Meaghan Boisoneau & companion Ryan Favreau; 8 great-grandchildren: Tyler, Katelyn, Aidan, Lily, LJ, Olivia, Finn, and Emily; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  She is pre-deceased by her son Charles O’Donoghue, her daughter Patricia Rue, brother, Raymond Renaud, and her canine companion ChiChi.  
Pauline was born in Clinton, daughter of the late Romeo & Irene (Philie) Renaud.  She graduated from the Clinton High School, Class of 1947, and pursued studies at the Clinton Hospital School of Nursing.  Pauline enjoyed the next 42 years as a Registered Nurse at the Clinton Hospital, providing care and comfort to countless patients and newborn babies in the delivery room and maternity ward.  Following retirement in 1989, Pauline took pleasure in traveling, spending winter months in Ormond Beach, Florida, and summers in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.  Among her many enjoyments, Pauline looked forward to her weekly card games and always kept up with current events through hours long phone conversations with family and friends.  Known for her strength, compassion, and kindness, Pauline was happiest in her role as the proud family matriarch and will be lovingly remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, nurse, and friend.  Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 4 until 7PM in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Pauline O’Donoghue to: VNA Hospice & Palliative Care, Fund Development Office, 199 Rosewood Drive, Suite 180, Danvers, MA 01923.  Online condolences may be placed at www.philbincomeaufh.com
