Condolence From: Grace M. Carroll
Condolence: Sending love to Dan & Sr. Marie Celine!
This is my beloved friend, Jeanette Ann Erdelac Kelly! I met Jeanette the first year I transferred to John Carroll University. I attended a Christian Life Community (also known as CLC) in the Fall of 1975! I sat on the floor next to Jeanette! (or "J", as I was fond of calling her!) We became fast-friends, and remained so. She played the guitar & sang beautifully...I am good at harmonizing -- together we formed a Team! We sang at many 11 pm Masses in our dormitory chapel, and at many, many Sunday Masses at JCU. I consider Jeanette's friendship to be one of the most treasured gifts which our God has ever bestowed on me! I remember how happy & excited she was when she & Dan were dating! I had the great privilege to be her Maid of Honor! I know how much she longed for and prayed for, a child of her own. God blessed Jeanette & Dan with Erin (now, Sr. Marie Celine!) HOW PROUD SHE IS OF YOU SR. MARIE CELINE!!!!! Did you know that I had a baby shower for you? My beloved Mother was alive then, too & came to the Shower! I miss her & pray for her(My Mom) every day. She met Our Lord face-to-face on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes 02/11/2003. I will be praying for YOUR MOM, Sr. Marie Celine -- and for your beloved wife, Dan, every day of my life. She taught me many things...she "lit the way" & spoke to me (about 18 year ago) of the importance of preparing our souls to meet God. WHAT A WONDERFUL, AND WHAT A GENTLE, WOMAN! Sr. Marie Celine---did you know that your Mom loved a singing artist named "Cat Stevens"??? We used to sing his songs together. Jeanette had a deep devotion to Our Lady thru saying the Rosary. I loved Jeanette. I will always love her. Dearest Dan & Sr. Marie Celine--you are in my prayers. With love & respect, Your friend, Grace

Condolence From: Sr. Mary Francis Maney
Condolence: Dear Dan, Sr. Marie Celine and family,

My sincere condolences on the passing of Jeanette. I'm so glad I was able to see her this past week. She was a tremendous example of perseverance amid so many years of suffering. I'm grateful that Our Lord has called her from this "vale of tears" to her true home in Heaven, where we will one day see her again. Eternal rest and happiness grant to her Oh Lord! In Our Lady,
Sr. Mary Francis Maney
