James J.  Tambolleo Jr.
Clinton-James J. Tambolleo, Jr., 81, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 5, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Catherine (Soldi) Tambolleo; their children, Lisa Tambolleo, Cynthia Tambolleo, Paul Tambolleo & wife Maria, and Judy Nieves & husband Jose, all of Clinton; 6 adoring grandchildren: Cameron Wendler, James Tambolleo Ciciotte, Juliana Tambolleo, Jose Nieves, Jr., Matthew Tambolleo, and Antonio Nieves. He leaves his siblings, Vivian Dowd of Sterling; Albert Tambolleo & wife Nancy of Bolton; and Patricia McDonald of Lancaster; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is pre-deceased by siblings, Catherine Cowart, Mary Favreau, Eleanor Lyons, James and Paul Tambolleo.
Jimmy was born in Clinton, son of the late James J. Tambolleo, Sr. & Mary (Lemos) Tambolleo. He was a member of the Clinton High School, Class 1958 and completed studies at the MA School of Barbering in Boston. He began his professional career as a barber, later worked as a foreman for the Colonial Press and as a realtor for Paul F. Lowe Real Estate Agency, before ultimately retiring as a supervisor for RR Donnelly Printing Company. Often found tinkering in his garage, Jimmy was a Master of all trades who enjoyed home repairs, motorcycle, engine, and classic car restoration. He was Fan #1 at every sporting event for his children and six grandchildren and a long-time mentor and coach for Clinton Little League. Jimmy held membership with the Clinton Fish & Game and was an accomplished marksman, avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He loved summer vacations with family on Salisbury Beach and was most proud in his role as husband, father, and grandfather. Calling hours will be held from 4 until 7PM on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Friday, November 12, 2021 in Reservoir Pines Cemetery, Clinton. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of James J.
