Clinton-Gail K. (Ciccone) Brown, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Gary D. Brown; five children, Dennis Ciccone; daughter-in-law Mayra Ciccone; Donna Rockel & husband Keith; Dean Ciccone & wife Jennifer; Gina Brown & partner Jay Flanagan; and Anthony Brown & wife Holly; her siblings, Michael Ciccone, Jr.; June Ciccone & partner John; Joan Ciccone & partner Bernie; and Mark Ciccone & wife Nicole. She was the adored “Nonny the Angel” to her grandchildren Ashley, Paul, Paige, Mike, Celene, Michael, Seth, Ian, Madison, Noah, Emma, Olivia, and her great grandchildren Sloane, Oaklee, and Johnny. She leaves her brother-in-law Kevin Stevenson & partner Sue; her godson John Ciccone, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends. She is pre-deceased by two brothers, Matthew Ciccone, and Richard Ciccone, as well as his wife Donna.
Gail was born in Leominster, daughter of the late Michael & Emma (Caffoni) Ciccone. She was raised and educated in Lancaster and was a graduate of the Lancaster High School, Class of 1961. In addition to raising her family, Gail worked for the Dupont Company in Leominster and Weetabix in Clinton. Gail was a parishioner of St. John’s Church in Clinton and a member of the Clinton Elks Lodge. Among her many enjoyments, Gail loved singing, spending time with family, cooking, trips to the casino, and playing Keno. She was happiest in her role as the family matriarch while entertaining during the holidays and cherished every moment spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton. There will be no calling hours held. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton.
