Obituary for Elizabeth F. "Betsy" Bradley (Pearson)

Elizabeth F. "Betsy" Bradley (Pearson)
Clinton- Elizabeth F. “Betsy” (Pearson) Bradley passed away peacefully at UMass Medical Center on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, after her valiant battle with cancer. She was 54 years young.
Betsy was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on July 22, 1967, and grew up in Kalamazoo, MI and Acton, MA. She settled and raised her children in Clinton, MA.
There aren’t enough words in any language to express how loving, generous, hilarious, and beloved our Betsy was. Devoted mother and daughter, sister and niece, friend and confidante, the Queen Bee of all our hearts.
Her merry blue eyes always sparkled, and every pun was intended. Everyone had a special bond with her. She was a peace maker, a joke teller, a hug giver. To know her, truly, was to love her. Everyone from close family and friends to near strangers could confide in and trust her. Within a few minutes of meeting Betsy, you might find yourself thinking what an angel she was. And if you said that to her, she’d be the first to giggle, and with that sparkle in her eye, say, “more like devilish!”
She was the queen of crafts, and her handmade gifts brighten so many of our homes. A jill-of-all-trades and master of most, she could whip up a scrumptious casserole just as easily as building a deck chair or making a jeweled lamp. Her baked goods and cooking were famously delicious, and for decades the recipe for the best cookie has been known as Betsy’s kick-a** cookies. Her home and garden abound with thriving plants and joyful color.
She was the truest of friends. Whether you needed a hug and some good advice, help moving, or a partner in crime, Betsy was there. She got her hands dirty, and she cleaned up good. Her presence was like sunshine: warm, life-giving and joyful. She loved the sea, mermaids, rainbows, and sassy jokes. Professionally, she was everyone’s favorite co-worker: fun, industrious, and kind. She worked at Southboro Medical Group and Reliant Medical Group for many years.
Betsy is survived by her husband Steven J. Bradley of Berlin, and her children, Nathan Bradley and Eva Bradley, both of Clinton; her parents Richard Pearson & Charlene Russell of Kalamazoo, MI; her siblings and their spouses Ronnie Pearson & Lee Meeker, Shannah Ford Plutchak & Eric, Jess Brewer & Rodney, John Ford, Chelsea Soracco & Don, Katherine Pearson & Mamadou Bodian, Shaylen Pearson & Jonei Hernandes; her aunts Kelly Russell and Silvia Caldwell, sister-in-law Susan Seed, lifelong friend Melissa Tirado, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family, coworkers and friends. Previously departed loved ones include her birth mother Elga Pearson and sister Tabitha Ford.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday April 14th, 2022 from 2 until 4PM with a memorial service to follow at 4PM at Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. There will be a gathering after the service at Turner Hall, 60 Branch St, Clinton.
