Condolence From: Wayne Wollerman
Condolence: David Slauenwhite sent me news of Miss Philbin's passing. Both of us are CHS Class of '76 graduates, and Carol Ann Hamilton (who posted here first) was our guidance counselor as well as our Class Advisor with Ed Thompson! Seven years earlier he had sent me notice of Marguerite Philbin's obituary, sister to Eleanor.

I'll never forget the Advanced French Class trip to Quebec she organized, including eating a "farmhouse style" meal. She also directed us in the play Cinderella starring Gerard McAndrews and Nanci Cioffi. Dave submitted a cast picture from the Clinton Daily Item to the Worcester paper to see if they would include it.

My recently-departed sister Wanda Wollerman (CHS '72) decided to major in French at Assumption College because of Miss Philbin's influence and sharing her love of the language!

Deepest condolences to her family, including Jean Praderio from our class who I believe was related to her. David and I have many fond memories of her.

Condolence: It was many years ago when I was teaching at Clinton High School that I met "Miss Philbin".
She would often ask me to join she & Marguerite
for supper. Was so interesting to hear about her
brother .
As I drive by the house I recall clearly as the house from the outside looks the same. Fondly so many memories.
Carol Ann Hamilton
