Obituary for Carol A. Buteau (Snow)

Carol A. Buteau (Snow)
Clinton-Carol A. (Snow) Buteau, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Marlborough Hospital following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her children, Lisa Cummins and husband Dan of Leominster; and Michael E. Snow & companion Caroline Slinn of Little River, SC; three grandchildren, Ella Cummins, Nichole Snow, and Michael J. Snow; her sister Barbara Labbe of Clinton; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is pre-deceased by siblings, Kenneth Snow, Jr., Marguerite Draleau, Elizabeth “Jean” Bashaw, Joseph, Michael, and Aileen Snow.
Daughter of the late Kenneth & Helena (Shimansky) Snow, Carol was raised and educated in Clinton and Lancaster and was a graduate of the Nashoba Regional High School, Class of 1962. In addition to raising her children, she worked as a quality control inspector for Carbalon, Inc. in Sterling and later with Res-Tech in Clinton, from where she ultimately retired. Carol enjoyed cheering for the New England Patriots, and all Boston sports teams. Always thinking of others, Carol frequently checked up on her family, friends, and neighbors and never arrived empty handed. She looked forward to her weekly Bingo games and any chance to play Yahtzee with her sister Barbara. Above all, she loved her children, grandchildren, and family and will be forever remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 12:30PM at St. John’s Cemetery, Parker Rd., Lancaster, under the direction of the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Carol Buteau to support cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
