Anne R.  Haemer (Laperriere)
Clinton-Anne R. (Laperriere) Haemer, 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at River Terrace Healthcare in Lancaster. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, Thomas J. Haemer, Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Sarah Haemer & fiancé Christopher Keefe of Clinton; and Kathryn Candiloro & husband Matthew of Glastonbury, CT; and her adoring granddaughter Faith. She leaves two brothers, Arthur Laperriere of AK; and Paul Laperriere of ME; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends. She is pre-deceased by her sister Mary Laperriere.
Daughter of the late Rainne & Helen (Poirier) Laperriere, Anne was raised and educated in Worcester and was a graduate of St. Peter-Marian High School, Class of 1970. In addition to raising her daughters at home, Anne worked as a teller for the former Worcester County National Bank and in the Operations Department for Clinton Savings Bank until retiring. Among her many hobbies, Anne was most talented in knitting, crochet, quilting, and painting, notably as a long time detail artist for Wee Forest Folk ceramic figurines. Alongside her husband Tom, Anne was actively involved in her community through volunteer service with the Lions Club, US First Robotics Team, as a member of the quilters group, prayer group, lector, and long time-parishioner of St. John’s Church in Clinton. She was a proud life-long fan of the Boston Red Sox. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 5 until 7PM in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. The family requests that masks please be worn while attending all services.
