Obituary for Andrew W. Walker

Andrew W.  Walker
Berlin-Andrew W. Walker, 74, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 3, 2017. He is survived by his soul mate Kathleen M. Clark; three children, Donna, Andy, and Becky; his siblings, Penelope M. Pendergast & husband George; and David G. Walker & wife Karen, all of Berlin; brother-in-law Ronald Ackley; extended family, notably David Clark, Christopher Clark & wife Mary, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. He is pre-deceased by siblings Alma Ackley and Kenneth Walker.
A life long resident of Berlin, Andy was born son of the late Alvin & Martha H. (Wright) Walker. He was educated in Berlin schools and attended Hudson High School. Andy spent his 45 year career as a stone plant operator with the Berlin Stone Company. He was an active member of the American Legion, AmVets, VFW, and Crystal Club Charity. He was a celebrated patron of Market Basket in Hudson, where “his girls” looked forward to his daily shopping excursions. His enjoyments include motorcycle riding, tending to his garden, ice fishing and spending time with family and friends. Andy’s “one of a kind” personality endeared him to all walks of life and his legacy will forever live on in those he cared for. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10AM on Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with burial to follow in South Cemetery, Berlin.
