Bolton-Robert J. O’Ryan, 62, passed away in his residence on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 after being stricken ill. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Kelly (Cobb) O’Ryan; their children and spouses, Julia Keiselbach & David of Leominster; James David O’Ryan & Leah of Salem; Elizabeth Urbaez & Leandro of Clinton; and Mary O’Ryan of Somerville; 3 grandchildren, James, Gabriel, and Eva Keiselbach. He leaves his sister Mary Rudolph & Robert of Kinderhook, NY; mother and father-in-law, June & James Cobb of Clinton; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Robert was born in Bronxville, New York to the late James & Jeanne (McKiernan) O’Ryan. He was raised and educated in Hartsdale and studied at the University of Notre Dame. A devoted family man, Robert dedicated his life to raising his children and shared in all of their interests and activities. He was a passionate musician, talented cellist, violinist, and pianist, who taught countless children and adults musical studies. He was an avid fisherman who always looked forward to his annual fishing trip with friends. He most cherished time spent in the company of his wife, children, and grandchildren, and will be forever missed by his family and friends. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10AM on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1 Hager Park Road, Westminster, MA 01743. Burial will follow in South Cemetery, Bolton.
