Marie  Montour (Rancy)
Lancaster-Marie Nicole (Rancy) Montour, 60, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Marc L. Montour; their son, Nicholson Montour & wife Guadalupe; and two granddaughters, Ericka and Isabella Montour, all of Lancaster. She leaves her siblings and their spouses, G. Junie Bernadotte & Jean H. Bernadotte of Clinton; Yvrose St. Sume & Pastor Lionel St. Sume of DE; Raynold Rancy & Marie Claire; Renette Monuma & Emmanuel; Julner Rancy & Evelyne Rancy; and Nadine Rancy, all of Canada; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Marie was born and educated in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to the late Renaud & Julie (Darisme) Rancy. Marie enjoyed her career as a home health aide and medical technician until her retirement. She was a woman of great faith who worked hard to bring a better life to her family and the patients she served. Marie possessed a gifted sense of humor, and a friendly-outgoing personality that could light up a room. She enjoyed to travel and most cherished time spent in the company of her family. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11AM on Sunday, June 4, 2017 in the College Church of Seventh-day Adventists, 337 Main St., Lancaster, with calling hours in the church prior to services from 9 until 11AM. Burial will be held in Eastwood Cemetery, Lancaster. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton.
