Diane  Casasanto (Pupecki)
Shirley- Diane M. (Pupecki) Casasanto, 56, formerly of Clinton, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 21, 2017, following a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, James Casasanto, and their son, Thomas Casasanto, both of Shirley. She also leaves her siblings and their spouses, Louise Chouinard and Roger of Clinton, Amy Ford and John, of Marysville, WA, and Joseph Pupecki and Marie of Saco, ME. She also leaves her aunt Dorothy Bierholm of Lancaster, and her beloved nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Diane was born in Clinton, daughter of the late Joseph T. and Shirley (Sargent) Pupecki. Diane attended Clinton public schools and later graduated from Holy Family High School in Fitchburg, Class of 1978. Diane had worked for Atlantic Microwave, the Limited, and the Cerebral Palsy Foundation. She was a member of the former Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in Clinton. Diane enjoyed gardening, cooking, birdwatching, Old Orchard Beach, and the New England Patriots, but most of all her family and friends. Her message to all who loved her was “Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened!” Funeral arrangements will be held privately under the direction of the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, MA 01510.
