Obituary for Jean M. Frisch

Jean M. Frisch
Leominster/Clinton-Jean Marie Frisch, 58, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at UMass Medical Center after a courageous fight with cancer. She was born in Clinton on May 14, 1958, daughter of Constance H. (Sesia) Frisch and the late William E. Frisch. Jeannie graduated from Clinton High School in 1976, then received her Medical Assistant Certificate from David Hale Fanning School of Health and Technical Occupations, and was employed at Longview Orthopedics in Leominster for the past 15 years. With a great love for her family, Jeannie absolutely adored her niece and nephews, and enjoyed taking them on several trips to Disney World in Florida. She cherished time with family, and took pleasure in cooking, and tending to her flower and herb gardens. Jeannie especially loved the beach and looked forward to the family’s annual trip to York Beach, Maine where she had gone for over 25 years. She thoroughly enjoyed walking on the beach every morning, and spending hours enjoying the sun, water, and tranquility.
Jeannie is survived by her mother, Constance Frisch of Clinton; siblings, Bill Frisch Jr. and his wife Irene of Sutton, Bob Frisch and his wife Lisa of Rutland, Laurie Frisch of Leominster, Paul Frisch and his wife Laurie of Leominster; her niece and Godchild Chelsey (Frisch) Breau and nephews Bobby Frisch, Bryan Frisch and Kyle Frisch. She is predeceased by her father, William E. Frisch, who passed away in April of 2016, her maternal grandparents Aldo and Helen Sesia, and her paternal grandparents William and Laura Frisch. The family would like to thank Dr. David Takeda, Infusion Nurse Meghan English, and all the caregivers at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston for their compassion, expertise, and professionalism in caring for our dear Jeannie. We would also like to thank the medical staff, particularly the ICU nurses, at UMass Medical Center-University Campus, for their dedication and compassion. Funeral services are to be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Burial will later be held privately. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 4 until 7PM. Gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Jean M. Frisch to support patient assistance programs at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
