Obituary for Joan Ann Draleaus (Pisowocki)

Leominster-Joan Ann (Pisowocki) Draleaus, 85, passed away peacefully in her residence on Friday, December 16, 2016. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Draleaus. She is survived by her three siblings, Elinor Haaker, wife of the late Warren Haaker, of Leominster; Dorothy Holloway, wife of the late Robert Holloway, Jr. of Athol; and Joseph Pisowocki & wife Margaret of Fitchburg; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She is pre-deceased by her sister Mary Harnois.
Joan was born in Clinton to the late Joseph & Catherine (Zielonka) Pisowocki. She graduated from the Fitchburg High School, Class of 1949. Joan spent her career in plastics manufacturing, notably working for Tilton & Cook in Leominster for many years. Throughout her lifetime Joan enjoyed summers boating, swimming and water skiing on Lake Whalom. She loved to dance, cook, and travel. Joan was a woman of great faith and dedicated, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 9:30 until 10:30AM in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11AM in St. Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster.
