Obituary for Thomas A. Notaro

Thomas A.  Notaro
Clinton-Thomas A. Notaro, 54, died Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Clinton Hospital following a brief illness. He is survived by his life companion and loving wife Debora (Judd) Notaro; his siblings, Betty Perla, wife of the late Donald Perla; Ronald S. Notaro & wife Mary; Gary A. Notaro; Holly Sargent & husband Mark; Laurie Trongone & husband Kevin; sister-in-law, Peg Notaro, wife of the late Anthony “Butch” Notaro, all of Clinton. He leaves his step-children, Robert Monaco, Jr., Melissa Robinson, and Nick Monaco; his adoring grandchildren, Abigail & Lauren Monaco, Madysen & McKenna Robinson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Thomas was born in Clinton to the late Anthony & Juanita (Boynton) Notaro. He graduated from the Clinton High School, Class of 1980 and studied welding at Worcester Trade School. Tommy then enlisted to proudly serve our nation for the next ten years in the US Navy and was assigned to duty as an aircraft systems maintenance technician aboard the USS Enterprise. Following service, he returned home safely and worked for several local contractors including Bates Construction, JR Grady, WM Reisner Corp., and the Town of Abington. A proud patriot, he was a member of the Clinton VFW, and a proud grandfather, he was affectionately known to his grandchildren as “Papa Honey.” Tom was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed cooking and shopping. He most cherished time spent in the company of his grandchildren and will be forever remembered by his family and friends. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 7PM on Monday, December 5, 2016 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with calling hours prior from 5 until 7PM. Burial will later be held in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Thomas A. Notaro to: American Cancer Society, 43 Nagog Park, Suite 100, Acton, MA 01720.
