Tom Comeau speaks of receiving plaque
Today our family and friends of the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home wish to thank the Clinton Historical Society for their efforts in bestowing an honorable plaque on our home as the former residence of David I. Walsh.
His well-respected career of service to our community is recognized not only for his being the first of Irish heritage and Catholic faith to achieve the positions of both Governor and Senator of the Commonwealth, but for his loyal dedication to the people of Clinton and citizens of Massachusetts on the local, state, national and world levels of government.
As the greatest political figure to hold office in our town’s rich history, David I. Walsh made Clinton a better place for generations of our families.  His great faith in our community and legacy of service remain in this home today as the promise of our family in business, right here at 176 Water St., Clinton, Massachusetts 01510
